Bamboo Fiber Humanoid Robot: In February 2026, China’s first bamboo-fiber panda-shaped humanoid robot, “Zhu Da,” was unveiled in Chengdu. Its outer shell and load-bearing joint modules utilize a bamboo fiber composite material extracted via ultrasonic micro-airflow green separation technology, with a bamboo fiber content of up to 60%. The entire robot weighs less than 30 kg, offering both lightweight construction and high strength.
